About the Hatz 3F45E
The Hatz 3F45E is a compact, OEM-friendly 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel designed for industrial machinery that needs smooth running, strong mid-speed output, and modern governed-speed control. Built on the F‑Series platform, it combines a tidy installation footprint with the refinement benefits of a multi-cylinder layout, making it well suited to packaged equipment where vibration, noise characteristics, and stable speed control matter.
In variable-speed applications, the 3F45E is rated up to 18.4 kW (24.6 hp) at 2500 rpm (intermittent full-load power). For constant-speed duty, it supports 1800 rpm generator ratings of 14.2 kW (19.0 hp) standby and 12.6 kW (16.9 hp) prime, giving you clear sizing options depending on whether the set is intended for standby cover or continuous prime operation.
