BP1500

Enough power to run real appliances.

The BP1500 is where a battery pack stops being a phone charger and starts standing in for the socket on the wall. It runs a fridge for most of a day, a microwave, a TV and most corded power tools under 1,500W.

At 16kg it’s still easy to lift into a van or campervan, and the app shows exactly what’s going in and out. It’s modular too, so you can add capacity later.

Who it’s for

Campervans, power cuts and weekend jobs.

Campervans

Off-grid without the hook-up.

Run the fridge, lights, phones and a laptop wherever you park, and top up from solar panels on the roof or the ground.

No hook-up, no generator, no annoyed neighbours on the campsite.

Power cuts

Fridge, Wi-Fi and lights through a power cut.

Keep the fridge-freezer cold, the router on and the lights working. A fridge-freezer on its own runs for the best part of a day.

To connect it to your house wiring, use a proper changeover switch fitted by a qualified electrician.

DIY and small trades

Corded tools, no lead across the garden.

Circular saws, jigsaws, drills and battery chargers up to 1,500W. No extension lead from the house, and no petrol can in the shed.

What will it run?

Approximate runtime on a full charge. We work it out as 1,536Wh × 85% ÷ the appliance’s watts. The 85% allows for inverter losses, so these are realistic figures, not best-case ones.

Wi-Fi router and fibre box · 15W About 3.6 days
CPAP machine, no humidifier · 40W About 33 hours
Fridge-freezer · 60W average About 22 hours

A standard 3kW kettle or a 2kW fan heater is too much for the BP1500. The BP2400 handles a 2kW kettle.

Recharging

Mains or solar. Your choice.

Mains: fast charging from any standard UK socket.

Solar: plug in solar panels and top up for free, wherever you are. Ask us which panels suit it and we’ll make sure they match the input.

The app: check the charge and see what’s drawing power from your phone.

Battery safety

LiFePO4, the same chemistry as home batteries.

Lithium iron phosphate is far more thermally stable than the NMC lithium-ion found in phones and older power stations, and it lasts many more cycles. That’s why every pack in our range uses it, the BP1500 included.

Lifespan

3,000+ full cycles.

Charged and emptied twice a week, that’s decades of cycling. In practice, calendar age and storage set the limit long before the cycle count does, so look after it and it’ll look after you.

Compare the range

Every pack is LiFePO4 with pure sine wave output. Swipe the table on a phone.

Questions

Will it run a kettle?

A low-wattage travel kettle up to 1,500W, yes. A standard 3kW kitchen kettle, no. For that, look at the BP2400, which handles a 2kW kettle.

How long will it run a fridge?

A typical fridge-freezer averages around 60W once its compressor cycles on and off, so a full BP1500 runs it for about 22 hours.

Can I add more capacity?

Yes. The BP1500 is modular. Ask us about extra battery packs and we’ll tell you what fits your setup.

Can I connect it to my house wiring?

Only through a proper changeover switch fitted by a qualified electrician. Never back-feed a house through a socket.

Can I take it on a plane?

No. Airlines don’t allow lithium batteries over 160Wh on passenger flights, and the BP1500 is 1,536Wh.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes. There’s no combustion, so there are no fumes and no carbon monoxide. Keep the vents clear and don’t cover it while it’s running.

Is it safe for laptops and TVs?

Yes. The output is pure sine wave, the same clean power as a mains socket, so it’s safe for laptops, TVs and other sensitive electronics.

How should I store it?

Somewhere dry between 0°C and 25°C, at around half charge, and top it up every few months. LiFePO4 cells won’t charge below freezing, so bring it in from a cold van or shed before charging.

Delivery and returns

Shipped from our UK warehouse.

Because of the size of its lithium battery, the BP1500 travels by a specialist carrier. Returns are accepted within 14 days.
