BP300

Small enough to grab. Big enough to matter.

The BP300 is the one you keep by the door. It charges phones, cameras and laptops, runs LED lights and a router, and keeps a 12V cool box going, all without a sound.

Take it camping, fishing or down the allotment, or keep it charged in a cupboard for when the power goes. Its LiFePO4 battery is rated for over 3,000 cycles, so it’ll keep going long after a cheaper pack has faded.

Who it’s for

Little pack, lots of jobs.

Camping and festivals

A weekend of phones, lights and music.

One charge covers a group’s phones for the weekend, a string of LED lights every evening and a speaker round the fire.

At 3.5kg it goes wherever the tent does.

Power cuts

Stay online when the lights go out.

Plug in the router and fibre box and you’ll stay connected for the best part of a day. Often that’s all you need to keep working, keep in touch and keep the kids happy.

Keep it charged in a cupboard and it’s ready the moment you need it.

Days out

Fishing, the allotment and the beach.

Charge a camera, run a small fan or keep the cool box cold. It’s the easy way to add a socket to anywhere you can carry a bag.

What will it run?

Approximate runtime on a full charge. We work it out as 296Wh × 85% ÷ the appliance’s watts. The 85% allows for inverter losses, so these are realistic figures, not best-case ones.

Phone · one charge ≈ 15Wh About 16 charges
String of LED lights · 10W About 25 hours
Wi-Fi router and fibre box · 15W About 17 hours
CPAP machine, no humidifier · 40W About 6.3 hours
12V cool box · 45W About 5.6 hours
Laptop · 60W About 4.2 hours
43in LED TV · 80W About 3.1 hours
Camera battery · one charge ≈ 15Wh About 16 charges

Anything over 300W, like a kettle or a hair dryer, is too much for the BP300. Need more? The BP600 doubles the output and the BP1500 runs a microwave.

Recharging

Mains or solar. Your choice.

Mains: fast charging from any standard UK socket.

Solar: plug in solar panels and top up for free, wherever you are. Ask us which panels suit it and we’ll make sure they match the input.

The display: shows the charge left and what’s going in and out at a glance.

Battery safety

LiFePO4, the same chemistry as home batteries.

Lithium iron phosphate is far more thermally stable than the NMC lithium-ion found in phones and older power stations, and it lasts many more cycles. That’s why every pack in our range uses it, the BP300 included.

Lifespan

3,000+ full cycles.

Charged and emptied twice a week, that’s decades of cycling. In practice, calendar age and storage set the limit long before the cycle count does, so look after it and it’ll look after you.

Every pack is LiFePO4 with pure sine wave output. Swipe the table on a phone.

Questions

Will it run my CPAP overnight?

Most CPAP machines draw around 40W without the humidifier, so a full BP300 gives about six hours. The humidifier uses a lot more. Check your machine’s rating, or ask us and we’ll help.

Can I charge it with solar panels?

Yes. Ask us which panels suit it and we’ll make sure they match the input.

Can I take it on a plane?

No. Airlines don’t allow lithium batteries over 160Wh on passenger flights, and the BP300 is 296Wh.

Can I use it indoors?

Yes. There’s no combustion, so there are no fumes and no carbon monoxide. Keep the vents clear and don’t cover it while it’s running.

Is it safe for laptops and TVs?

Yes. The output is pure sine wave, the same clean power as a mains socket, so it’s safe for laptops, TVs and other sensitive electronics.

How should I store it?

Somewhere dry between 0°C and 25°C, at around half charge, and top it up every few months. LiFePO4 cells won’t charge below freezing, so bring it in from a cold van or shed before charging.
